What's Been Going On?

It's been a long time since I wrote on my blog. It's been pretty busy around here.

Oh my, you wouldn't believe how much work I have been doing!

There are a couple new dogs at the neighbors house, plus a few puppies. Lately, those dogs and their puppies have been coming over into our yard and

 I do not allow that.

When I see them outside or hear them, I run to the front door and bark and bark. I am so worked up when I see those dogs. The hair stands up from the back of my neck all the way down to my tail. When Grammy opens the door I BOLT out, running after - fast and furious - chasing them OUT of our yard.
The brown and white dog has been getting into the trash lately .. the family is NOT happy about that. The dog leaves big messes outside, trash strewn all about.

Also, I am always supposed to guard the house when the family leaves. One day last week, everyone was gone and to hear Elisa tell it, you would think I don't do my work.

I just happened to be taking a quick nap under my pink Cinderella quilt and I heard the door rattle - I jumped up to see who was coming in,  my head, covered and tangled in the blankets got in my way so I listened carefully, turning my head right and left, and I heard that it was Elisa.

I knew, that even though I couldn't see her cause my eyes were covered by the blanket that everything was going to be OK because the family was home now.

In the end, head still covered with the blanket, after successfully doing my job as guard dog, I curled by back up and went into a deep sleep.
Elisa laughed at me .. and for some strange reason said "some guard dog you are Daisy"
I still don't understand it.

Just last night the family went out. They went to the Kemp's for a Super Bowl party? Did you watch the Super Bowl? Grammy says Steelers are our team, but I understand that they did not win.

Grammy and Aunt Elisa made a cake for the party .. here are some pictures.

To bad the Steelers didn't win. Cake was great though!

I will write again soon.

Grammy told me to tell you that she thinks about you

EVERY SINGLE DAY

and that she loves you with her WHOLE heart.

And I, Daisy May, I love you too.

Sounds like you all had a blast. We didn't watch the superbowl. We celebrated Dylan's birthday and then Dylan and Aubrey went to church. Cute cake and cute girls. :)

Love you.
