My New Harness

It came in. My new pink harness. 

 

 

Mary got it out of the box and put it on me. 

We went for a walk, Mary wanted to take pictures of me with my harness on
 but I wouldn't cooperate. She told me to look at her so she could take a picture, but I wouldn't. 

 

She said "Oh my! Daisy, don't you want to look cute for your blog pictures?" But I didn't care. I wouldn't look at her. Mary didn't know what to do. "Hmm" She thought, "I wonder why Daisy won't cooperate with me" So she asked me. 

"Daisy, why won't you look at me while I take your picture?" 

I didn't really know why I wouldn't cooperate.  

Later, when I was resting, the idea came to me and then I understood why I would not cooperate. 

I was feeling embarrassed in my harness. 
It was too big for me and I looked funny.

It took me a little time to think about it. After I thought about it and I understood my feelings, I went to Mary and talked to her and explained that I had felt embarrassed in my harness because it was too big for me and I felt like I looked funny. 
I said I was sorry for not cooperating and would she forgive me. She said yes and gave me a hug. She told me she would be happy to exchange the harness to get the right size. 

 I learned a lesson that day. I learned that sometimes I don't understand my own feelings and Mary doesn't either. 

That's when things got better, talking about it really helped.

Mary was not mad and we were able to solve the problem. 
Whew! I'm glad that is all done.
 Now I will just wear my old pink collar till the new size comes in.
